I have two sites that just blow me away. I have done very little in the way of link campaigns for them, but I have paid attention to how the sites are structured. The results?

Pet Directory - http://www.animalnetpets.com is relatively new and only has a page range of 2, yet do a search for "pet directory" and out of about 80,000,000 search results returned - we've been on the first page for 2 months now! Add your pet/animal related site to this directory - no reciprocal linking required.

Pet News - http://www.theanimalnet.com was my starter site back in 2003 and has gone through multiple changes - but it seems to have gained a "trusted" status with the search engines, and just about anything I put up on it gets good placement on the search results. Do a search for "pet news" and it shows up on page one out of 98,000,000 search results. Based on the Digg model, it is solely about the pet and animal world. Feel free to hop on over and submit a PR, announcement, or anything that has to do with your site(s).
