Well there is a company that is now breeding cats that people will not be allergic too. These cats are the new alternative to the traditional treatment for cat allergies.
The cat allergen is a potent protein secreted by the cat's skin and salivary glands. The company who wrote this article, Allerca, says that they do not harm the cat in any way, to make them Hypo-allergenic. They are very healthy cats and so poplular that it is very hard to get one. They come in all kinds of coat colors, and patterns The cats are medium sized cats averaging between ten and fifteen pounds.
It all just sounded very interesting to me so thought I would pass this info on to all you cat people.
