Its not unusual for a family to fall in insanely in love with a Yorkie charmer. This energetic bundle has been acclaimed the second most popular dog in the U.S. For a lot of folks the perfect Yorkie will be... relaxed around other pets, friendly to everyone especially children, calm and well behaved around the house, willing to come when called at the playgroundand a real saint when out walking on the leash. Hhmm… I hear you thinking….You’ve got a good point! Exactly so how do we achieve it? Well it’s not all that tricky. I have been engaged with Yorkies and dog behavior problems since 1971. Now that I am retired I find the opportunity to write. I have learned a great deal from these amazing animals and I want to share a little of this knowledge.
