We've all experienced some sort of mishap/delay while flying the friendly skies. My most recent experience was on July 16th. I flew into Atlanta from Kansas City. The flight was late departing, so therefore my arrival into Atlanta was delayed.

I had been on vacation for two weeks and had several peices of checked luggage and had no other option then to wait for what seemed to be 30-45 minutes for my luggage to arrive. One thing I always do is to make certain that my luggage is marked to where I can identify it quickly and move on out! So take it from " Your Travel Pro" and apply these tips....

Do not Check Your Bags (If Possible) Save time and avoid that depressing lost-luggage counter with a light trifold garment bag that fits in the overhead compartment.

Strap It Up If you must check your luggage, wrap it with a luggage strap. No embarrassing busting zippers and your bag will be easy to spot on the carousel.

Don't Dry Up Saline nasal spray combats the dryness of planes and hotel rooms. Rewetting drops will keep your contacts from jumping ship after you touch down.

So the next time you go on that business trip or weekend get-a-way, remember these few tips and you will have an enjoyable time. Have a great day!
