Adding Video to Your Blog.
In my previous article I wrote about Building Credibility With Blogs. Here is a short article to show you how to add a video to your blog to increase your online credibility.
In this article I will show you how to add a YouTube video to your blog. This could be done in a few steps.
Before you begin to add a video to your blog, you will need to have a YouTube account. Opening a YouTube account is easy. If you already have a Google account you could access your YouTube account by clicking on the “more” tab at the top of Google’s page and locate the YouTube Video tab. If you don’t have a Google account, you could also set up a YouTube account by going directly to the YouTube.com home page. Once this is done you are now on your way to embedding video on your blog.
In addition to building your online credibility, sharing a YouTube video would also enhance your blog and appeal to visitors and subscribers who are not interested in reading information.
After you log into YouTube, you will be taken your home page. In the search box type in the name of video you would like to see. In this example I would search for social networking sites.
Here are the steps to follow after loading the blog
1. Click on “Share” which is below the video.
2. Click on” Embed”.
3. Uncheck the box next to “Show suggested videos when the video finishes”
4. Highlight the link in the box and copy it.
