When your advertising campaigns have not the results you hoped for you may be doing some wrong like the little guy above.
This poor little guy is a bit cross eyed. His darts did not reach his target. Why not? They are good darts, the are not bent or something, they are top quality. He knows all about dart sports, in theory because he has read a lot of dart e-books? So, how come?
Think about this:There are two car sales man, the both want to sell a new model of cars, say model ShrinkAndPark. It is a great model, if folds itself in the tiniest parking spot. It is revolutionairy and new, the price tag is accordingly.
Both present the car on a bog auto show. One in the country site in a city where there in plenty of room, the other one in a big city. Who do you think will sell the most cars?
This is also relevant for advertising on social sites. Some products are best suited to advertise on sites attracting a general public or a public with specific interests, others will do great on social business networks.
