Backlink is just a link from another website or blog to yours. Search engines evaluate your website based on quantity of links coming from other website or blogs. This is how they filtered porn and illegal site from SERP ( Search engine result page). The higher the quantity of your backlinks will produce a better chance to get page rank. There is a BUT, search engines not only counts quantity, also they give weight on quality of the backlinks. That?s mean whom do you link with, your backlinks become more powerful when it's come from your relevant niche. Let's say your niche market is telecommunication products and if your backlink come from fishing site, it's irrelevant to your niche therefore search engines put less value on it.

It?s very important subject to get better result in backlink effort. But you should not ignore any of them, it's should be balanced.

There are a few marketers don't even bother to know about backlinking  or SEO since they do have other source of traffics. But if you looking for traffic from search engines you have no choice you need to put effort to gain some knowledge on backlinks rules and regulation from search engines.

There Are Rules To Play, Don't In Get Trouble With Google

1. Don't buy or sell Backlink with Dofollow link.  Google only allowed to sell backlink with Nofollow attribute. Your site may penalized and de-indexed.

2. If you happen to buy Backlinks make sure it's added gradually, bulk adding it in short period of time could traced by Google for unnatural way of getting backlinks. You may penalized for that and de- value your site.

Building backlinks is very tedious job, so some would prefer to buy. Should you buy the backlinks, please look into these downfalls.

1. Do research on where and how the links coming from and make sure the links not coming from same source.

2. Avoid publicly traded links site, they are more likely tracked and flogged by search engines.

3. Avoid monthly backlink membership to maintain your links, you may risk losing your position if you cancel the membership.

Look for backlink services who write article, guest post and make comment behalf of you but it's may cost you a lot. The cheaper backlink service may bring down your SEPR rather than improve it if they never follow Google's regulation. So do throughout check before subscribing any of them.
