The best feeling in the world is when you help someone else realize his or her dream.

Just imagine you have just discovered a cure for cancer. Your discovery can free the whole world of this dreadful disease! What would be the first thing you would do? Would you keep it a secret? Would you tell the whole world that you have found a cure? I know I'd be out there sharing the news with everyone! I would have it on television, the radio and newspapers. This is too important! Everyone has to know about it.

Well, you haven't found a cure for cancer, but you have found a way to become financially independent! Are you sharing what you've found with everyone you know, or are you keeping a good thing to yourself? Direct sales and multilevel marketing are great ways to reach financial security. You discovered it when someone shared the opportunity with you. Spread the news!

How do you view sponsoring? Do you view it as something you feel obligated to do? Do you view it as something you are excited to do? I have found the easiest way to sponsor someone is to become passionate about your company and the opportunity. Think of sponsoring as an unselfish act!

Where would you be if the person who sponsored you had been selfish and not told you about the great opportunity? There is no better time than now to offer others the same opportunity that someone shared with you. Whether you are new in the business or a seasoned veteran, it's part of your responsibility to make sure everyone knows what your company has to offer!

There's one secret to sponsoring: can you guess what it is? Give up? Okay, I'll tell you:

Ask, ask and ask again!

When someone tells me they have a hard time sponsoring, I'll always ask this question:

"How many people have you asked?"

They may say, "Well I talked to this person the other night and I mentioned it to them." It doesn't count if you just mention it and don't do anything about it! Sit down with the individual and share why you joined the business. Ask what would happen in their life if they had an extra $500 or $600 a month. Then, show how easy it is to get started.

There are hundreds of thousands of people who have become financially independent in direct sales and multilevel marketing. You could be one of them. All you have to do is believe in what you do enough to want to share it with everyone. Every person you meet should know what you do. Don't hold back - share your passion!

Six Ways to Increase Sponsoring

1. Make a List of Everyone You Know. Use the list to call and tell everyone what you are doing. Don't leave anyone out!
2. Ask for Referrals. If the person you called is not interested, ask who might be. Ask this, "Who do you know who could use an extra $500 to $600 a month?"
3. Know Why You Joined. Know your dream! Be willing to share it when someone asks you why you joined. Share your story at every presentation; there may be someone there that will relate to your story.
4. Share Company Information with Everyone at the Presentation. Make sure you have enough information packs to send one home with everyone. It shouldn't include all the details of getting started. Your goal is to pique their curiosity without giving all the particulars. Leave them wanting more information for you to explain at a personal interview.
5. Sponsor Your Hostess. Make sure after you total the show sales that you tell the hostess, in front of all her guests, how much money she would have made that evening. You could say, "You know Kristi, had you done the presentation this evening, you would have made $100! If you had an extra $100, what would you do with it?" Pause and let her answer. Then ask, "Would you like to find out more?" This is a simple way to convert your hostess.
6. Keep Your "Sponsoring Glasses" on Everywhere You Go. Share what you do with everyone you meet!

Now that you have the secrets of successful sponsoring, see yourself as a "messenger" for your company. Make sure to share the good news with everyone!
