Questions

What do you think of an online service provider that bills its customers in local currency?

Asked by Dennis Brooks, in Internet & eBusiness
The service is provided on an international basis from a central location, but billed in local currency. Assuming the user is based in the US and the service is costing $100, at current exchange rates the same service when converted to US Dollars will cost: $101.2 in Canada, $104.6 in Australia, $123.4 in central Europe and $157.1 in the UK. Is that fair?

If the service provider has the payment option either by Paypal or Credit Card it will be much cheaper than by Bank payments either by check or transfer of funds. PAYPAL is the better option.

Either the service provider Dosen't know about other payment options or his local currency are stronger than other currencies.

I think Paypal gives you an option to keep other currencies just for that purpose.
