No, unless your site's content is 100% unique. If you have competitors in the same field you won't be able to do it.

I think it is possible, especially if you target long tail keywords with lower search volume. And like a lot of people posting here have said, good quality content will help immensely. If you haven't already done so, submit your site to Google, Bing and Yahoo. Try and update your site with new content regularly.. After publishing your new content, use a pinging service such as pingomatic or FeedShark. Hope this helps.. good luck!
