I have created this page so that you can get to know who I am, what my values are, and learn why I am so passionate about helping other people to become the best that they can be. My life, as you will read, has always been about helping others to be successful, to better themselves, andto show them that they can achieve anything that they want to in life through a little hard work and believing in themselves.

I was born and raised in Guilderland, New York which are the suburbs just outside the capital of Albany, New York. I come from a very large family because my Dad had 2 wives; 3 children with his first wife and then 7 with my mother. There were 9 girls and 1 boy, but unfortunately my only brother passed away when he was only 11 years old.

My Dad worked as a veterinary assistant and my mother was a stay-at-home Mom. Needless to say we were very poor and there was not a lot to be had. Most of our clothes were either hand-me-downs from a few family friends or from the Salvation army clothes drop-off box. So I learned at a very young age that if I wanted things in life I had to figure out ways to earn my own money to buy what I wanted.

I started my very first business when I was only 11 years old...yes, 11. I was blessed with the talent to draw and I created my own set of cartoon characters. I decided to make myself a couple cool T-shirts using a couple of my characters, and everyone loved them. In fact, other kids wanted to know where they could buy them.

One of the neighborhood mothers came to our house one day and asked my Mom about my designs, and she wanted to buy a couple shirts for her daughter. I heard her say she would "PAY" for them and that was all I needed to hear. That is how I started my first business...a T-shirt design business, and after that I never looked back! Business was in my blood and making money was easy to do!

I was only 15 years old when I left home, was married at 16 years old, and I had my first 3 children by the time I was 19 years old. Things were tough at the beginning, but I was determined we would financially make it, and I did not want to depend on any government handouts either. My ex-husband joined the delayed entry program with the Army, so shortly after we graduated he went to Fort Dix, New Jersey to start bootcamp.
