-        For the children room, you can opt for Venetian blinds as they come in bright colors which children like.

-        For the bedroom, Roman blinds make a good choice. They come in a variety of choices in terms of fabrics, colours and textures. 

You can select the blinds according to the budget you have for them. 

Wooden blinds will be more expensive than blinds made of other materials. 

You also have the choice on the  area of the window that you wish to cover with blind. If you do not want any light to enter from a particular window, you can cover the entire window tightly with the blind.
