What to Do in Whistler If You Don’t Want to Ski

There are plenty of things Whistler has to offer for skiers and non-skiers
alike.
If you are looking for Tourist Attractions in Whistler or just
activities that you will have fun doing that isn’t skiing, here are some of the
things you can try:
1. Go on a cultural tour.
Learning more about the culture is one
way of gaining more appreciation of this place. Go beyond the usual Whistler
tourist attractions and go on an aboriginal tour. You can also visit Squamish
Lil’Wat Cultural Centre if you want to learn more about this place and the
first people who inhabited it. If you are bringing kids on your tour, it will
also benefit them to learn more about the local culture.

Go sightseeing.
Whistler is a beautiful place and
wherever you go, you should be able to enjoy the view. But one you should not
pass up seeing is the Whistler Village. They are easy to get to because they
are just around the lifts. You can check out the Upper Village, Village North
and Village Centre.
There are plenty of things to see such
as. You can even visit the Valley Trail nearby, which will take you to the
forest. Go shopping or try the different restaurants there. There are also
galleries you can visit.
3. Try the Peak 2 Peak Sightseeing
Experience.
If you don’t want to ski but you still
want a thrilling adventure, you can do the Peak 2 Peak Sightseeing Experience.
This is an activity that you can do in the winter. You will ride the gondola
and then it will take you on a mountain tour where you can get the best view of
the area. Both mountains have a restaurant that you can dine in for that unique
experience.
4. Check out the Whistler Olympic
plaza.
If you don’t want to ski but you still
want to do some snow activities, this is the best place to go to. Kids can go
tobogganing. There is also an ice skating rink. There are also snowshoeing,
ziplining and dogsledding activities offered here.
5. Try ice fishing.
Another unique Whistler experience you
would want to try is ice fishing. Catch some fish over a frozen river.
In addition to this, you would want to
check out the Vallea Lumina. This multimedia experience treats you to the
beautiful light effects.
These are just a few of the things you
can try. You can do a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, whatever suits
your needs. There are activities for adults and kids alike.
