What is ghee butter?

by Sreeja Talukder Content Writer

Natural, light, and creamy-textured, ghee butter is truly the best of both worlds. Unlike other vegetable oils that have to undergo many processing steps to prepare for market, ghee can be used right out of the jar to spread on any recipe you love. No preservatives or coloring are needed and no heating or cooling is necessary. This is truly the healthiest way to get your vitamins and nutrients in a fast and effective way. Now that is something you can appreciate about something so simple.

So what is ghee butter anyway? It is an extract from cow milk, with its texture close to that of creamier than butter and its high smoke point making it a healthy alternative to olive oil. Ghee  butter can be added to sauteing or can be spread on plain crackers, cereal or toast. The high smoke point makes it ideal for cooking as it will not burn at high temperature cooking. Ghee is considered as the better butter, because ghee is also known as clarified butter. Being a healthy alternative of butter, ghee is called the better butter.

Naturally gluten free and all natural, grass-fed ghee is the best of all. When compared to saturated and trans fats, organic ghee butter is a healthy fat that can be used in place of butter. In addition to being high in healthy fats, it also has the ability to keep you fuller for a longer period of time and thereby helping you from overeating.
