Vacuum pumps are used in various applications in many different industries. Vacuum pumps remove gas from a sealed medium to leave a partial vacuum. Fluids then flow into the vacuum due to the difference in pressure gradients.

There are three kinds of vacuum pumps:

       positive displacement pumps

       momentum transfer pumps

       Entrapment pumps.

Positive displacement pumps repeatedly increase a cavity, further increasing its volume. Then part of the chamber is closed and exhausted, pumping gas or fluids to their target areas. This process repeated again and again. Diaphragm pumps are also popular and have no oil contamination because of their design. Liquid ring pumps are resistant to dust. Blower pumps and piston pumps are also equally common.

Welch Vacuum pump parts have numerous industrial and scientific applications:

They are used for composite moulding.

       Flight instruments.

       Production of vacuum tubes.

       electric lamps

       semiconductor processing

       electron microscopy

       photolithography

       uranium enrichment

       print presses glass

       stone cutting factories

       cabinetry fabrication

       Medical applications

Medical applications further include:

       radio pharmacy

       radio surgery

       radiotherapy

       mass spectrometers

Instruments that analyze solid, gas and liquid.

Other uses

Welch Vacuum pump parts are also used for:

        decorative vacuum coatings

energy saving and durability of glass

        ophthalmic coating

       hard coatings

dairy equipment such as milking machines

vacuum instil of electric motor windings or wood

        trash compactors

       Air conditioning service

       sewage systems

       vacuum engineering

       fusion research

       freeze drying

Types of Welch vacuum pump part

Gas Transfer Pumps - Gas transfer Pumps transfer gas molecules by either momentum exchange or positive displacement. The same number of gas molecules goes out from the pump as enter

it.

Kinetic Transfer Pumps- Kinetic transfer pumps are used  to introduce vapor to direct gas towards the outlet, working on the principle of kinetic transfer.

Positive Displacement- Positive displacement pumps works by mechanically trapping a volume of gas and moving it through the pump. It is used to provide a higher vacuum and flow rate.

Entrapment Pumps- Pumps which capture gas molecules on surfaces within the vacuum system are called Entrapment Pumps. These pumps work at lower flow rates than vacuum pumps however, they can provide extremely high vacuum,
