Trying ChatGPT to be Like Everyone Else

We have taken the opportunity to look at ChatGPT and ask it a couple of questions. If nothing else’s it a good article itself shows how questions are more important than answers. Here is the result:

Problems using ChatGPT for research

And Just like every other initiative like this, its impact diminishes human endeavour rather than enhances it. Unless it significantly improves (which it no doubt will). And real “non-techy / apolitical” people are involved in its development, it will continue to be retrogressive. And, on a moral level, reprehensible. At best, it will be an ever-improving tool to force us to think. And perhaps help with writer’s block and bone idleness. And it will go a long to ensure the population all think the same.
