Vindhyachal Thermal Power Station, MP

In the Sinrauli district of Madhya Pradesh, the Vindhyachal Thermal Power Station and has the capacity of 4,760MW, is the biggest power plant in India, which is operated and owned by NTPC. The plant uses water from the Super Thermal Power Station discharge, of Singrauli and Coal from the Nigahi based NCL-operated mine.

Mundra Thermal Power Station, Gujarat

This power station is located in Kutch, Gujarat and is one of the biggest power plants of India. This coal powered power plant is operated and owned by Adani group and has nine generating units (Five 660MW units and four 330MW units). For this power station, the coal is imported from Indonesia and the water source is the Gulf of Kutch.

Mundra Ultra Mega Power Plant, Gujarat

This 4,000 MW power plant is also located in Kutch, Gujarat and ranked as the third private power plant in India. It has five power generating units and each unit has the capacity of 800MW power generation. Coal and water source are the same as of the Mundra Thermal Power Station, Kutch.

Bajaj Enerygy Limited, Bajaj Power Plant

Bajaj is another big name of Power Generation Plants India, especially in Uttar Pradesh. The plants of the group are situated in Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Lalitpur, Gonda and Balrampur area of Uttar Pradesh. The Bajaj Power venture is developing around 2500 MW power. Every station of the group is continuously achieving its minimum target with full capacity and the company is solely devoted in its power generation units.
