A good looking black tuxedo makes a man look complete. Be it an official annual event, or a family function or any important event of your life, nothing can match the elegance of a black tuxedo. You can go for either a readymade suit or a tailored one. The thing is that there are number of stores in Mumbai which are dedicated to men’s apparel, especially suiting and shirting. You can visit one of them to get yourself a tuxedo. However, you should be careful while selecting the design of the tuxedo. The design of the tuxedo should not only suit your looks and personality, but also the occasion you would be attending wearing the tuxedo. Here are five tips for you regarding fashion of tuxedoes

1.       Keep the tuxedo black

You might think that you should try different colours of tuxedo to look better. But, the fact is that it would turn out to be a fashion faux pas. Mens tuxedos should always be black in colour. If you want to try other colours, it must be a dark shade. Black tuxedo combined with white shirt and trousers looks very good.

2.       Add a pocket square to your tuxedo

Just like tailored suits, you can get a pocket square in your tuxedo too. A nice pocket always looks sophisticated. However, here is an additional tip for you about pocket squares. Always keep it in mind that the design and colour of the pocket square do not match with the shirt and any of the other apparels you are wearing. The point is to make the pocket square look strikingly good. However, if you feel that the pocket square is not adding anything to the look of your tuxedo, you can safely avoid it. However, this decision needs to be made at the beginning itself.

3.       Get your tuxedo custom made

Always go for custom made tuxedo. A number of branded apparel stores provide the service of tailored suiting where you can get your tuxedo stitched. Custom made tuxedos have better fitting than the readymade ones. When you check out the fittings of your suit, the first thing you should check are the shoulders. This is because the he secret of perfect fitting of suits lies in the perfect shoulder fitting. If you get your tuxedo made at a good place, you need not worry much about the fitting.

4.       Expose an inch of your shirt sleeves

Last but not the least, you should always keep about an inch of your shirt sleeves exposed. If you find that that the sleeve has been fully covered by your tuxedo arms, consciously adjust it. Wearing a shirt of contrasting colour, preferably white, would definitely help you earn brownie points in looks.
