Things to remember before you hire a personal trainer

Losing weight or getting fit is not easy, it requires effort, determination, and motivation. This where a fitness trainer comes into the picture. A fitness trainer will help you achieve the body type you desire.

Hiring a personal trainer in Dubai can make a huge dent in your bank balance, this is why it is necessary to make sure that you are getting the best out of every penny you spend. Before you make commitments and have over the fee, make sure that the trainer you are hiring is right for you.

Here are some important questions you should ask before you a fitness trainer:
Know the target areas: before starting, it is important for you to set your target areas. When you have decided which areas you want to target, discuss it with your fitness trainer. A good trainer will listen to you and prepare a list of exercises that will help you achieve your fitness goals.

Can you train without assistance of a PT: When you hire a PT, you will most likely spend 2 to 3 sessions with him every week, so what about the rest of the days? A good personal trainer will create a complete workout chart for you, explaining what you have to each week. He will also teach different exercises that you can do on your own.

How to set goals for myself: Every person has a different body type. Some reach their target withing months, while some take more time. An experienced personal trainer will understand your body type and set a goal for you.  As you progress, you PT can make changes accordingly to speed up the process. But if the PT is not actively participating in your progress, then you should look for another fitness trainer.

Are weights important for me: Weight training is not only for hardcore bodybuilders. It is an important part of every training schedule. Whether you want to lose weight or build body, weight training is necessary. A good personal trainer will access your body type and create a weight training program for you. If your PT doesn’t include weight training, then you should look for a more experienced fitness trainer in Dubai.

Personalized plan: As I said, everyone has a different body type. You PT will set goals based on your body type and your abilities. Also, if you have any injury make sure you tell them beforehand. This way, they will be able to make a plan that might help you in your recovery.

If your trainer flexible: Working with a personal trainer gives you the freedom to create your own schedule. You can decide whether you want to workout late in the evening or early in the morning, your trainer should be there for you as long as you created your schedule a few days in advance. If your PT is not ready to work according to your schedule, then you should look for one who can work as per your schedule.

Ask your PT to provide references: Ask your PT to provide references for their previous clients. If he is experienced in fitness training, he won't have any issue in providing a reference. If he/she is not willing to provide a reference, then you should avoid him and look for another trainer.

Finding the right personal trainer is liking a finding a date. A good trainer can change your life permanently, while a bad trainer can completely ruin it. So, it is important that you ask the right questions and do a thorough research before making any commitments.
