The Fuels for Multi-fuel Stoves

by Jane C. Web Marketing

Cast iron wood burning stoves play an important role in warming our home in the winter, however, many housewives will choose the multi-fuel stoves from a variety of cast iron stoves as their heaters to generate heat for their house, all this result from multi fuel stoves can use several kinds of materials as fuel. Thus, they relieve the reliance on fossil fuels such as gas, oil and electricity, which are becoming more and more expensive.

The fist kind material can be used as fuel for multi-fuel stoves is wood. As known to all, the wood has been burned for many years since our ancestors lit fire in the wild. You can use wood as fuel even if you get a wood burning stove, let alone you get a multi-fuel stove, wood is one of the best alternative.

Except wood, you also can use something that is made of wood as fuel, such as, wood pellets. One of the wood pellets named dehydrated compressed wood chips is becoming increasingly popular so that they have been the other alternative except wood, because they are easier to store than logs and don’t have to been chopped up.

Besides, a product of wheat named corn pellets also can be a good choice of fuel for multi-fuel stoves, and they are also produced by renewable resource just like wood and wood pellets.

The three kinds of fuel are totally clean fuel and all of them are made from renewable resource. If you don’t mind your stove will release some CO2, coal or something made from coal can be a nice fuel, too.

I think the main advantage of multi-fuel stoves is that they have more choices of fuel, they even can freely and flexibly use several kinds of fuel at different times, just need to according to your situation and decrease your heating bills.

With the several kinds of fuel, may you have a wonderful winter with your multi-fuel stove!
