Stacking Traffic Exchanges

If you have used traffic exchanges to get visitors to your website, I am sure you have heard of the strategy to use one exchange to promote a page that offers a bonus to join another and then use the second one to promote the first.

The theory is to get enough referrals surfing for you, that you no longer need to surf yourself to have massive traffic, even when you are asleep.

The truth is this really can succeed at getting a lot of referrals, but the traffic is really low grade and those who sign up just to try a new exchange, often quit using it once the free bonus is depleted.

I use just a few traffic exchanges and advertise useful information to help visitors reach their own goals (such as how to get more traffic and referrals), then as they learn the advantages these unique exchanges provide, they are much more likely to stick around and be active.

One of my favorites is Free Advertising For You and if you click this link, it may look like any other of the hundreds of exchanges online. I sent hundreds directly to this page with feeble results, but when I started doing a little explaining before they get there, it greatly enhanced the response. Where the stacking comes in, is I now promote my own primary opportunities on that one exchange and use any other exchanges (that offer something unique) to bring more referrals in to see them.
