QuickBooks Payroll Error Code 12157

Using QuickBooks’ accounting features becomes difficult due to prevalence of errors. One such error is Error 12157. This error may arise when you have more than one QuickBooks installed in your system. 

The main reasons for occurring of this error are:

• Incorrect date and time. 
• Restriction by firewall and internet security applications. 
• Multiple QuickBooks installed. 

How is Error 12157 fixed?

Solution 1: By resetting the system’s date and time. 

• Make sure to enter the correct time and date from the below right corner of the system. 
• Also, select the correct time zone.
• Update QuickBooks. 

Solution 2: Restoring the computer system.

• Log into your system as administrator. 
• Go to start>>All applications>>accessories>>Computer tools. 
• Click option of system repair>>Go to reinstall my PC>>Next.

Solution 3: Changing internet connections settings.

• Change the connection settings from the help menu from QuickBooks
• Go to Internet connection setup<< Click Next.
• Go to Advanced connection settings<< Advanced tab<<Restore advanced settings.
• Click on OK.
