We were surprised to find all our goodies from the mainland, including French gourmet goat cheese, and our special soy milk. 2. Moana Bakery and Café

For breakfast, lunch or dinner, Moana Bakery and Café is one of a kind. Enjoy a fusion of native Hawaiian and Mediterranean cuisine while belly dancers and local musicians entertain. With food fresh off the plantation and an in-house pastry chef, Moana Café offers all the necessary ingredients. 5. Livewire Café

Wake up at Livewire Café and allow the local treasures of Paia to enliven your day. One of the only suppliers of organic coffee on Maui, Livewire also uses locally grown produce, as well as fresh, unpasteurized juices from The Big Island, to make signature smoothies. Surf the net, enjoy works by local artists and get a taste of Paia at its finest. 


6. Voyage

For clothing to wear from the beach to a dinner out, Voyage is a men’s and women’s clothing boutique with designs from Patagonia, Quicksilver, Sigrid Olsen, and Pura Vida. 7. The Maui Dharma Center

Spirituality in paradise can be found at The Maui Dharma Center, which offers daily prayer services and meditation taught by the Venerable Lama Gyaltsen. For more than two decades, this charming small antique store has been the home of various and eclectic objects from traditional local art pieces to generic mainland items left behind by forgetful voyagers. Definitely worth a peek inside as you never know what original gift you could find to bring back to your love ones.
