Building a new house is not a difficult task if followed the right way with all the guidelines and planning it well from the base construction to putting on the last brick of the house. It is possible to work on the architecture and interiors on basis of the real budget, keeping it green and yet sticking to the required and well thought designs.

There are few basics which should be followed while constructing a new house.
1. Keeping it Small:  Keep it simple and small. There are instances where people buy big houses and find it difficult to maintain. Instead of constructing a big house it is advisable to get rid of stuff that are not needed like broken appliances, out dated clothes and unwanted toys with many other used things so that you do not require unnecessary storage space. Make rooms and living room in such a way that can easily kept clean and maintained.

2. Do Away with Complexities: Good designs should have a clarity to all its parts which makes house easy to understand and affordable. Ensure all the structures are and not complicated. One should try and keep a simple square shape as it is the cheapest shape to build. Avoid zig-zag and multiple corners. They add on to extra space. There should be logic between the floors built and the structure selected.

3. Floor Plans: One should always keep floor plans simple, open and economical. This is the best way a background can be accomplished. Fewer walls will ensure less material along with well connected designs of floor will help in perceived floor space, making it feel larger. Divide your family in different parts of the floor like kitchen, living room and separate bathrooms and store house. This is the best way to remain connected and enjoy small space. It gives you a win-win situation along with eliminating wastage of space and good design.

4. Take care of Simple Designs: Though it is related to style, keep in mind the price. Any fussy details will raise the price. One can keep raw bricks at the burner place, stones at the parapet, and simple windows with aluminium. Use expensive material where it is needed. Simple details can be easily affordable as it does not equate with lesser quality or impact.

5. Build the Basics: It is extremely important to build the house keeping in mind the wiring, plumbing, disposal and the pillars in mind. One should not mess with the basic construction of the house-base of the house. Build house in such a way that future maintainenece is easy and affordable. Boiler tube removal, changing wiring, repairing sewage pipes should be easy without changing or breaking the base.

6. Choosing the Right Materials: Choose fabrics that are smart, goes well with the house, good and bright colours and are washable and affordable. While selecting the material for floors, keep stains and vacuuming in mind. Select the plasters and paints which matches well with the interiors and the linens. One can buy all these material from wholesalers to get good discounts and benefits of bulk buying. Ensure the material is durable and of good quality as they reduce the instances of high maintainence and replacement.

7. Splurge with a Strategy: Ensure you buy only those artefacts which are needed and adds to the utility and beauty. Unwanted things at the initial stage should be avoided to keep the budget low.  If you have children at home, keep glass artefacts away. Don’t buy things that are fragile and add on to extra care.

One should also keep in mind “Green” houses while building your home. Keeping globalisation in mind is extremely important. Have few appliances installed which can help in saving electricity and cost.
