by John Smith Freelancer

Loki is one of the most beloved characters of the whole Marvel cinematic universe. He is also one of the best supervillains appearing in the MCU films, and now his TV show is going to come soon on Disney+. The puny god is getting a solo TV show in the upcoming years.

We’d love to see him how he returned to life when he died in the Avengers: Infinity War. Coming back to life is not a new thing for our frost giant, and he has done it many times before on the screen.

Tom Hiddleston has played the title of Loki in all previous Marvel movies, and he has appeared in a total of six MCU movies.

About Loki TV Show

Michael Waldron who had worked before in the popular comedy shows such as Community and Rick and Morty will be the showrunner of Loki. So it is apparent that you might see humorous moments in the MCU supervillain’s upcoming TV show. The current planning of Marvel is to create miniseries for the Loki show.

Still, if it gets successful, then it is possible that we may enjoy the continuation of the story in several seasons and episodes. The majority\

of the MCU fans want to see Loki on the screen again since some of them love him even more than any Avenger.

Loki TV Show Release Date

Disney Plus released on November 12, 2019, in the United States; however, the Loki series is not releasing that soon. According to the news it may release along with or post-WandaVision. That means we have to wait until 2021 in the springtime for the show.

Till the Loki show comes, we can enjoy The Falcon & The Winter Soldier series which is likely to come out in fall 2020. The Marvel Cinematic team hasn’t confirmed any releasing date for the Loki show yet.

Loki TV Series: Plot

We all have seen him dying in the MCU, here we are pointing to the Endgame’s death. Although he had survived from death several times before, this time Thanos said, “No resurrection this time.” This creates confusion for the plot of Loki upcoming series.

According to the official statements, In the Endgame movie, we saw Loki running away with Tesseract from Avengers when Ant-Man and Iron-Man were trying to get the Tesseract from Avengers and failed. So the Loki TV show might use that timeline to bring Loki back in the MCU. With the help of Tesseract, Loki might use his own time travel strategy to modify human history.

In the preview image of Loki TV show, we can see the Jaws movie poster on the theatre that released in 1975. That means Loki is using time travel to play with human history and maybe planning to do something really destructive or interesting. However, the complete story is still unclear, but we have got the idea of how he is coming back to the movies.

Connection with MCU Timeline of Events

There is no official confirmation on this; however, many statements make us believe that the Show might be inter-relating to the time-line of the Doctor Strange 2 and Thor Love and Thunder. According to Bob Iger, the CEO of Disney, The Loki show will be linked to somehow the events of Doctor Strange: the Multiverse of Madness.
