Keep a Record of Every Raw Material Used

Since there is a huge variety of liquids that are being used in the making of products now, you can’t store them all in one bottle. Take the measly example of the kitchen in your home. You have a separate container for everything to avoid mixing and destroying the materials.

In the factories they have huge storage tanks as their demand is also huge. Liquids are procured in massive quantities and they need to be stored the moment they arrive. You can’t start filling a container unless you know how much is already present in it. Measuring the container is crucial before filling and also during usage of the liquid from the tank. With the help of a fixed liquid level indicator the staff is able to measure any storage tank. But there are limitations with the fixed liquid level indicator. Once it is installed to a container you can’t remove and use it on another one. While there is a plethora of containers, buying one for each of them seems like a bad idea and a massive amount to be spent.

In many cases the staff feels the need to have a second opinion about taking measurements of the storage tanks. The fixed one can become faulty at any time without anyone knowing about it. The only revelation occurs when the matter has totally gone out of hand and production comes to a halt. To avoid such circumstance it is important to have an ultrasonic level indicator at hand and keep measuring the tanks with it too. On doing so in a routine would provide the opportunity to detect a faulty device and have it replaced without causing any real trouble that would become impossible to rectify afterwards.
