KCET 2021 Examination Exam Details and Topics in One Comprehensive Guide

Karnataka Examination Authority is going to conduct the state level entrance exam i.e KCET 2021. Through KCET candidates get admission into engineering, architecture, B.Pharma and various other professional courses. Thus candidates have to do the registration in order to take the exam.  Application form will be available in the online mode in January at the official site. Check the eligibility requirement to fill the online form. Questions in the entrance exam will be asked from the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology section. KCET Eligibility Criteria 2021

Not all students can participate in the admission process of KCET. Candidates have to fulfill certain requirements in order to fill the form. Check the eligibility criteria below.


Courses

Eligibility 

Engineering / Technology courses (BE / BTech)

  • Pass in 2nd PUC / Class 12 or equivalent exam

  • 45% aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio- Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer (40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates)

  • Studied English as one of the Languages


Architecture course (BArch)

  • Pass in 2nd PUC / Class 12 or equivalent exam with 50% in all subjects (45% for reserved category)

  • Obtained 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (45% for reserved category)

  • Studied English as one of the Languages


Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH)

  • Pass in 2nd PUC / Class 12 or equivalent exam

  • minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects. (40% for reserved category)

  • In case of BVSc & AH merit will be prepared based on 50% of Marks secured in CET and 50% of marks scored in the practical test


BPharma

  • Pass in 2nd PUC / Class 12 or equivalent exam

  • Obtained 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects (40% for reserved category) or

  • Pass in Diploma in Pharmacy Examination from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India with minimum 45% aggregate (40% for reserved category)


Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH)

  • Pass in 2nd PUC / Class 12 or equivalent exam

  • minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects. (40% for reserved category candidates)

Farm Science courses

  • Pass in 2nd PUC / Class 12 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology as optional subjects.

Naturopathy & Yoga

  • Passed in qualified examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and obtained 50% aggregate (40% for reserved category candidates)

  • Studied English as one of the Languages


DPharma

  • Pass in 2nd PUC / Class 12 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or

  • Passed in Diploma in Pharmacy Examination from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India


2nd Year BPharma

  • Passed in Diploma in Pharmacy Examination from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India with minimum 45% aggregate (40% for reserved category)


KCET Application Form 2021

THe registration form will be available in online mode at the official site. Candidates have to enter the details such as personal , qualification etc in correct mode. Make sure to give the correct mobile no. and email.id. This is because any information is sent to the registered no. and id. Upload the documents if asked in the correct format.


Steps To Apply for KCET 2021:

  • Visit the official site of KCET 2021

  • Click on the KCET registration link

  • Register yourself and login the id

  • Now fill the details required and upload the documents

  • Click on the declaration form and 

  • Pay the application fee and complete the process


KCET Application Correction Window 2021

Candidates are advised to fill the form with correct information. However mistakes happen sometimes. The examination authority provides the application correction facility to the registered time, Candidates need to edit the form as per the given time. Make sure that this is the last chance to edit the application form. No correction available once the process is over.



KCET Admit Card 2021


Hall ticket is an important document that candidates have to carry on the day of the exam. It is also important for the further process. Admit Card will be available online at the official site. List of information is available in the hall ticket. Check the details given in the  admit card and make sure that the mentioned details are correct. If any kind of information in card is wrong then inform the concerned authority immediately 


KCET Exam Pattern 2021

Questions in the exam are asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology as per the courses. The exam takes place for 80 minutes. Look at the exam pattern which reflect the no. of questions, marking scheme etc,
