Its time to self upgrade for SD consultant with S/4HANA

As we are all aware of the latest innovation at SAP technology side and a lot many number of companies are adopting to it, and alongside upgrading their systems to most recent, however when we talk about self upgrading from the perspective of a consultant, then there is not much of consolidated information available to which we can refer to upfront.

Self update for any SAP consultant to get aligned parallelly with SAP developments especially with regards to S/4HANA is very essential to move ahead in one’s career in today’s times.

I’m a SAP SD consultant and when I began my journey of learning S/4HANA right from its very first release 1511, there were quite a confusions in my mind as to where all to learn, where to start from , what to refer to, how to practice etc. However, today after putting in 2 years of continuous efforts I am now in a state where I can consolidate some content which I have learnt through continuous research on the websites, practice and by my effort of leading S/4HANA early bird team in my past organization.

There are quite a lot of SAP SD consultants who are keen to learn S/4HANA however there would also be many confusions, which I also faced in the last 2 years tenure of learning.

I have therefore decided to take out sometime to write this post, which will help all my fellow SAP SD consultant, share some knowledge regarding the learning contents for S/4HANA from a consultant’s perspective.

All that I’m sharing is from my personal learning and experience as per my understandings and level of expertise. I may not be accurate at all places, and please excuse me incase I’m wrong at times.

There is a few minimum S/4HANA content which every SAP SD consultant must be aware of in order to call himself as S/4HANA ready consultant, this t to ensure that he can practice further and also get involved in any projects.
