Step-by-step Procedures HOW TO USE A DASH CAM
Step I: Find a good camera
The first step towards making use of a dash cam
is to find a good one. A good camera is that one which is that which has a wide
field of view captures and displays more accurate shots, is rich in details,
and contains plenty of storage space. It is also necessary that it be strong
and durable to endure repeated impacts.
Step II: Fix the necessary software
Some cameras require that you fix some software.
If yours happens to be such kind of a camera, this is the time to do so. Simply
install the software and activate it as per the requirements that are contained
in the licenses. To find the right software, go to Google Play or App Store.
You will find many there.
Step III: Charge and mount the camera
You should now move on to charge and mount the
camera. Be sure that the battery is completely full and that the camera is in a
proper functioning condition. Go ahead now to mount the camera strategically in
your dashboard. You should place it at a point that is clearly legible and does
not fidget.
Step IV: Power the camera and go!
Having put in place every preliminary step, the
time has now come to power the camera. Simply switch it on and let it carry out
the task of picking the signals as you drive. You may wish to zoom in, zoom
out, or focus on a particular object as you do so.
Step V: Share the data and images
Cameras simply play the role of capturing shots
and images. They are in and of themselves not complete. It is hence also
necessary that you figure out what to do with the images you will have so
acquired.
You may use a cable to route the signal to a
recorder. Alternatively, you may use Wi-Fi connectivity to transmit the signals
to a remote device in a wireless manner. If these two are not possible, then
you have to store the images in the hard drive of the camera and retrieve it
later.
This approach is however severely limited in
that the storage spaces of mist cameras are limited in scope and space. You
will subsequently have to delete the contents every now and then to be able to
be assured uninterrupted periods of service.
