How to Test the New iPhone LCD Touch Screen and Digitizer Assembly

Today we got the boxes of new iPhone LCD screen and digitizer delivered, we need to test these new screen digitizers before stock-in. Another busy day, let’s show you how we test1. Check the external parts
Here we mainly check on the good tightness of the metal frame, make sure no scratch, no gap or damage on the edge. Next, we would see if the flexes are good with no brake, no unglued part or no corrosion on it. Check the golden finger as well, make sure no damage or gap on it. Furthermore, we will check the home button connector on the visional condition. Check the glass lens on no scratch or damage, no bubbles or dust on the display area.
2. Test the installation compatibility
Move to the next section on test the new display screen digitizer installation compatibility. Use a standard iPhone back housing for testing. Connect and install the new display to the back housing to see if it is right on the position size, not jammed on the back housing, no gap on the edge, no clack while pressing on it.
3. Test the working functions
If the former steps are passed, we will move to the last procedure - the functional test. First, check the screen 3D functions, make sure all sections on the display screen are normal on touch response. Tap on and activate each App icon on the screen, make sure they could be opened normally. Tap on the App and hold time, drag the icon to any position of the screen to check if it is moving smoothly. Test the keyboard response on message texting, tap on each letter on the keyboard to see if it’s normal. Test the fingerprint touch ID sensor, we need to connect the new display to the fingerprint sensor test machine. Usually, the steel plate installation test is needed. Besides, we will test on the auto-brightness response, the microphone, the ear speaker as well. After all these functional items are tested, we can attach the qualified tab on this new display screen digitizer.
