How to Solve AT&T Login Problems?
by Ruci Roy Some all Emails problemsIf you have recently configured your AT&T email account in MS Outlook in order to make your email accessing process easier, but come to realize that your ‘AT&T account is not working with Outlook’ then, try these solutions:
Solution 1: First and foremost, you have to open your MS Outlook in ‘Safe Mode’ and to do so, open ‘Windows run dialog box’ by pressing ‘Win +R’ key shortcut. Then in the box, type ‘Outlook/safe mode’ in order to open the MS Outlook in safe window mode. After that, remove your AT&T account from Outlook and then re-configure the same by entering the below-mentioned correct AT&T email server settings for Outlook—
Incoming Mail Server:
- Server Type: IMAP
- Server Name: imap.mail.ATT.net
- Port Number: 993
- Type of Security: TLS/SSL
Outgoing Mail Server:
- Server Type: SMTP
- Server Name: smtp.mail.ATT.net
- Port Number: 465
- Type of Security: SSL/TLS
Solution 2: If still the problem persists then, the other solution is to check whether the email server of your AT&T email account is down or not. It is because login issues can be caused by the ‘Server down’ issue. So, to check your AT&T email server, open your browser and from it navigate to the website called ‘Downdetector.in.’ Then, in its search text box, type ‘ATT Communication’ and click on the ‘OK’ button to know ‘Is the AT&T mail down’ or not. If it shows ‘Down’ then you can’t do much about it until ATT communication itself fixes the server issue. However, if it is down just for you then, contact your local administrator to resolve the issue.
