Removing audio from video by the help of VLC
- Firstly, launch VLC.
- Then, choose the Media.
- After that, include the media that you wish to delete the audio from.
- Next, choose Convert. It will be located in the small pull-down menu in the end.
- Then, choose the spanner symbol. It shall be immediately after the Profile in the next window.
- After that, choose the Audio codec option.
- Next, un-tick the square immediately after the Audio in the window.
- Then, click on Save.
- After that, put the destination for the file located at the end of the Conver window.
- Lastly, choose Start.
Using iMovie for deleting the audio
- Firstly, go to iMovie.
- Then, choose Import Movie.
- After that, load the video of yours and do a right-click on it.
- Next, Choose the full clip.
- Then, move the video to the Timeline at the end of the display for edition purposes.
- After that, do a right-click on the Timeline.
- Next, choose Detach Audio. Note that it will divide the Timeline into two parts. The one part will be of pure video, and the other will be of pure audio.
- Then, choose the audio track.
- After that, tap on Delete.
- Next, chose Export. It will be located in the menu.
- Lastly, you need to save the video to any one particular place.
Note that you need to save the video as a different item for making sure that you shall be able to do changes from the original one. Remember that you shall be able to delete the original item after ensuring the newly added item is the one for which you were looking up to.
