It is an Outlook feature which helps the users to upgrade the value of emails from other addresses or domain names. Once you add recipients’ email addresses and domain names in the Safe Senders List, they are no more treated as junk email, regardless of the content of the message. You can add your Contacts and other correspondence to the Safe Senders list.

Steps To Add Recipients At Safe Senders List:

  • Launch the website of your Hotmail login page.
  • Next, you will be redirected to the Outlook login page.
  • You can login with your Hotmail id & password.
  • On Home tab, go to Junk and click Junk E-mail.
  • Now, find Safe Senders tab, check the automatically add people I e-mail to the Safe Senders List box.

OR

  • On the Add address or domain dialog box, enter an email address or a domain name in the edit box
  • Click OK.

This feature will prevent emails received from the email addresses in the list from going to your Spam folder. You can also add entire domains (e.g., @example.com) to the list.
