 It is said that one should always eat healthy, so eating healthy food is not just a fad and hippie granola types and it is not something which should be practice only under a doctor’s direction. It is essential for you to be carefully while choosing the food that you eat as it has an impact on every aspect of your life, happiness, and public communications and overall well being. 

However eating healthy indicates different factors to different individuals and that's okay. It is observed that to some healthy eating means having salads and carrot sticks at every meal. To other it is a simply finding a new way to enjoy with more healthy substances without sensation like they're starving themselves of taste and entertainment.

Most of individuals don't want to be on a "diet", while the fact is that everyone is on diet. Diet is the summation of all you eat, good or bad it's your daily diet. My point of view is that one does not need to be on diet they just have to improve their overall diet.

Thus if you want to improve the quality of food that you eat in this New Year, whether for wellness or just a fascination around the world of food now available, I have some healthy eating tips for 2012. 

Following are some tips for weight loss
1. Understand the recipe that does it contains natural limitations and can you modify them. 
It is not essential that one should have food which call themselves “low fat”, it is observed that one can make any recipe low fat but only when you know the proper changes to make. 
2. Check what food or eating habits you know are bad for you and slowly try to reduce it. 
For instant: Too much take-out food, too much snacking etc. Thus by analyzing it you can make some changes in your diet. 
3. Observe that food in your kitchen is not causing you, and if yes then you need to and stop buying them. 
If you are going for healthy diet then you should avoid keeping bags of chips or unhealthy snacks around you as it can make you to change your mind. 
4. Change your rating routines by taking better quality foods more intentionally rather than quickly taking comfort items. 
Along with it is also essential for you to avoid food by sitting at car or while you are walking. One should eat food by properly sitting down, and relax. 
5. Stop the guessing in your cooking. 
6. Be sure that you are eating healthy. You can also use the methods like steaming over boiling for vegetables thus because of this all nutrients remain in the food.v 
7. Prefer to basic method and replaced with better proteins. You can use beans instead of rice, pasta or potatoes 
8. Add spices in your food, as they are also very much beneficial for our health. 

So if you want to begin this New Year with a new resolution of healthy eating you can start by following the above tips.
