Gurgaon - The Leading Source of per Capita Income

Recently renamed as Gurugram, this Indian city is considered the most important one in the dynamics of Haryana despite Chandigarh being the capital city of the state. Although Gurgaon was not on the Delhi state’s border initially, the national capital has absorbed all the surrounding places till Gurgaon eventually due to its huge scope for development. Currently, it is not an exaggeration to say that Gurgaon is the most dominant parts of the national capital region in terms of revenue generation as it has become an integral location for information technology based organizations.

Located at the south western side of the national capital Delhi with a population of about 876,824, Gurgaon is the city to witness the urbanization on a spree. Out of all the cities of the national capital region, Gurgaon is the most successful and financially developed city and also the city with third highest per capita income in India. This city also contributes to the major income source of the Haryana state pushing Chandigarh next to it.

Maruti Suzuki India Limited, the leading source in car manufacturing in India is the pioneer to set up its firm in Gurgaon with which the city’s financial progress started. Currently, this city has accommodated the headquarters of many information technology firms and multinational companies adding to the income generation for the state.

Due to the rapid urbanization and the city’s networking with Delhi and other capital regions through the highways, Gurgaon has soaring real estate growth in the past few years and still maintains the tempo of being one of the most expensive localities in the national capital region.

To accommodate the huge population increased due to the urbanization and the employment opportunities, real estate developers are on a spree of constructing mega ventures across the city ranging in different segments according to the spending capacity of the residents.

Gurgaon is a place with ample transport options such as metro, shuttle bus services, cabs, auto rickshaws etc. The city is in a close proximity to the IGI airport making it even more accessible to the outside world and hence it is sure to be worth living at Gurgaon, the leading source of the state.
