Fix QuickBooks Error Code C=47

QuickBooks Error Code C=47 may hamper your working with the QuickBooks. 

This error may occur when: 

• You try to email payment receipts. 
• When you try to post payment to customers. 
• When you are using payroll 2018 version. 

 

What causes Error C=47?

• Internet settings are having some problems with secured websites. 
• Malware or virus attack. 
• QuickBooks not updated to the latest version. 
• Data damage in QuickBooks company file. 

 

How can this error be fixed?

Solution 1) By correcting the internet explorer settings. 

Configure IE settings from the tools option of Internet explorer settings feature. 

 

Solution 2) Malware or virus attack 

You need to scan your system for virus or malware by using Anti-virus scan.

This will help in fixing the Error C=47. 

 

Solution 3: Running rebuild data utility. 

• Go to Files in QuickBooks<< Go to utilities << Select Rebuild data.
• Click OK on the window popping up<<Click OK to create Backup. 
• Press OK on the message that comes up. 

 

Solution 4) Updating QuickBooks and resorting the lists.

• Update QuickBooks to the latest version.
•  Select Chart of Accounts from the Lists option in QuickBooks.
• Select on Re-sort list from the View menu. 
• Make changes to the list. 
• Restart your PC once resorting is done.
