Royal Academy of Drama, London 

One of the United Kingdom’s highly revered drama schools, Royal Academy of Drama, London, has been in existence for almost 100 years now. Yes, you heard it right. The mecca for tons of drama enthusiasts across the globe, it specializes in giving training for films and television besides theatre. 

Known for offering the exceptional vocational training, it was established in the year 1904 by  Sir Herbert Beerbohm who himself was an actor-manager. It is located in Bloomsbury, Central London in close proximity to the University of London. Currently, Edward Kemp, an English playwright who also happens to be a theatre director, is the director of RADA. Many prestigious actors have been sitting on the governing council of the Royal Academy of Drama. From India, Suhel Seth, one of the most famous management gurus and also, the founder and managing partner of the consultancy firm Counselage India, sits on RADA’s international board. Suhel Seth is known for his theatre-love. He has performed in numerous English plays and won countless accolades for his astounding performance. He has also worked in a few Bollywood films and received praise from even the best of film critics. His prominent works include Guzaarish, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Calendar Girls, etc.
