Easy Steps to Uninstall and Reinstall Your Epson Printer

With the continuous usage and frequent handling, Epson printer slows down, especially when too much of workload is allotted to it. Since its not possible to keep deleting stuffs every time, one can opt for other ways to resolve the issue. One of the most useful ways is to uninstall the driver and after a span of time reinstall it again. However, not everyone knows the steps for the un-installation and re-installation of the Epson printer. So, in that case, one can anytime follow the below mentioned steps for Epson printer installation, in case you are an Apple user.

  • At first, from the Apple menu, you have to select “System Preference” and then the user is supposed to click on “Print & Fax” option.
  • Now, you have to highlight any Epson printers and click the minus signed button to remove them from the Printers list followed by clicking OK.
  • Later, you are required to open the “Hard Drive” and then select “Library” followed by selecting the “Printers” option.
  • Choose to select the folder labeled EPSON and drag it to the trash. However, you need to be very sure before doing this because it will remove all installed Epson printer drivers. 
  • Just after the trash memory becomes empty, you must restart your computer. Later, Go to the Professional Imaging Public Beta Leopard Printer Drivers page and download the appropriate driver for your printer.
  • Open the file you downloaded, and follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver software. When it is done, click on “Quit” to proceed further.
  • Again from the Apple menu, select “System Preferences”, then click “Print & Fax”.
  • If you are a user of USB connection, the printer should automatically come into view in the Printer’s list, signifying that it has been installed. 

But in case, you are stuck in the middle and because of any reason you could not complete the procedure, do not panic. All you can do is, give a call on Epson printer customer support number and get the matter immediately resolved.
