Creating the perfect article that gets people's attention

Everyone knows that in today's world, you have to have a website to promote your business. And it also needs to look good. 

But after you have everything set up from a technical point of view, what do you do? People won't magically find your brand online and start buying from you. NO, you need to market yourself. 

And usually, that means you either spend some money on paid advertising, which is done usually by creating Adwords campaigns or Facebook ads for social media or even Native ads on Outbrain and Taboola. 

Once you do that, people will start to notice you, click on your ads, visit your website and maybe just maybe, buy from you. But wait.

Before you even do all that, your website needs to be filled with relevant content that your potential clients will see, they will land on your site and see what? First you need to create some content. 

And this is where I come in. I spent more than 10 years researching and creating more than 5,000 articles that were published online and still circle the internet to this day.

What I learned is that if you do your research well, and create a well informed content piece based on your research, people will find it, and read it, and share it, and take action basically.

Research: 

This is the most important part of the content creation. You can't do anything else before you get this right. 

What I love to do is basically take the topic that I would like to write about, and research my competitors, I manually search relevant keywords for my topic and browse the results to see where can I improve the information shared by other websites. 

I always find ways to out-perform the competition. 

After that I search for the perfect keyword for my article, most likely it will be something else from what I have in mind because you can't really know what people will search for without using a tool like Ahrefs or similar. So after I find the relevant keyword, I can start writing. 

Content creation:

Writing the piece is a process you need to know and practice, usually I try and write as much as possible without just spamming content with no point. 

You want to cover the topic as throughly as possible and write it a way like you would explain it to a friend who asked you a question. 

I am considered an internet marketing specialist so my experience might be advanced for some, but all I do is actually deploy common sense and stuff I learned along the way. 

I can write for days about the topic of content marketing but I figure this will be enough to get you going. 

Promote:

After you publish your awesome content, you need to promote it to your audience via social, email marketing and even on paid ads via social to get the initial burst of people checking it out and sharing. If your content is good, it will rank with time.
