Why should you use a splash page?

![]() The problem with squeeze pages is that when people are surfing - and if they are smart they are using tabbed browsing to surf several sites at once - they don't want to stop and fill in a form. There is a way around it: have your autoresponder service host your signup form, and use a splash page that links back to the hosted form. Make sure it opens in a new window, then people can continue surfing and come back to sign up for your list when they are finished. If you want to build your list, you better create squeeze pages, otherwise, with splash pages, you build the list of the program owner.
