Hand block printing comprises of a set of technique through which the carved wooden blocks are put in dye and are repeatedly pressed along the length of cloth to create beautiful patterns and designs. Even in Mdhya Pradesh these prints are quite famous and are created by the community member of printers known as Cheppa. They make use of vegetable to make colors. Many designers have used this work in different material with tassel, beads and ‘Gotapatti’ work to give a heavy look.
