May 6 2014 01:40 In Feb last year (2011) I purchased a property in Detroit, 50% finance at 3.95% fixed for 10 years. I paid $40k and returns $880 a month rent, minus insurance, water, management fee, etc and i’m left with $650. I had a couple of issues upfront with paper work dealing with the local authority through my property manager but once this was resolved its been pretty faultless every since. I have my rent paid, and I pay the mortgage quarterly to reduce the bank transfers fees ($30-$40) a wire transaction depending on the bank. I dealt mostly with Oliver and i’ve found him good to deal with, responsive and upfront. I would purchase another property but at the moment i’m in the process of purchasing a business so need the capital for that.Sam Soliman, Queensland |
