He hasn't eaten today and he is hungry.
He wants to go to school, but he doesn't have the necessary supplies.
His only clothing is that shirt. He has no pants, no shoes, nothing but what you see.
He needs to see a doctor, but there is no money for that.
He only has rocks and sticks to play with. He'd love a toy, but again, there is no money for that.
He'd love to know how to do something from which he could earn money when he grows up, but there is no way for him to get the training when he gets older.
But it doesn't matter. He quite likely won't live to get much older.
So, he looks to you for help.

You can participate in this God-given mission. And you WILL truly save children's lives by your participation. This could be one of the most important things you ever do in your life. Participate and you can truly know and say that you saved the life of a child in Africa, helped build a church in the United States, contributed to a child's escape from poverty in the United States, and/or supported Christian Education for youth.
Depending on the level of commitment that you are able to make, you can participate in the following ways:
Donate $12 USD to send a child to school for a year in Burundi, Africa:

Donate Any amount to help a child escape poverty and its consequences in the United States:
Donate any amount to support Christian Education for youth in the United States:
Organize a group of people who will work toward building a local church under the jurisdiction of the Missionary Disciples of Christ Denomination. But first read the articles on this site to see what we are about. Then, when and if you decide to do this, invite Rev. Dave to come and speak to your group through the contact form on this site. (If you are outside North Carolina, you will have to pay for Rev. Dave's travel expenses.)
