If it is in a different state, you should apply to have the case transferred to your present residential state. When writing a court statement on child support collection, you are required that you get a print out on payments made by your spouse. Where payments were made to you directly, it is essential that you have the receipts or bank statements with you. Next, draft a good motion that compels child support payment using a form obtained from the office of the clerk where you also file the motion.
