One of my favorite authors is Seth Godin, because his marketing approach and style comes from a customer's perspective.  I like his marketing vocabulary, terms like "purple cow", "permission marketing", "the dip and sneezers".

In my blog post I refer to his book called "Tribes" where he talks about groups of people who are led by a connection, and form a supportive network for growth and change.

Take some time to add this book to your marketing arsenal, its definitely worth it.
