The drop in prices has been made owing to the huge demand of this bike amongst the riders all over the world. Fat Boy, Fat Boy Classic and Heritage Softail Classic are the bikes which have now become affordable as the company has started assembling these motorcycles at their completely knocked down plant in Haryana. This auto giant is planning to concentrate more on the North eastern India owing to a wider demand.

Price Drop Reason and Affordability:

Though its competitors vary in opinions regarding the slashed prices but the bike lovers are really happy as they can now fulfill their desires for owning a bike made by this American auto giant.

 1) However the first and the foremost reason still remains the same as Harley has started assembling these bikes in its CKD plant located in Haryana.

2) After the reduced prices the 1690 cc Fat Boy would now sell for INR 14.9 lakh as compared to 19.45 lakh while the Fat Boy special would be sold at a special price of INR 15.6 compared to its earlier price of INR 19.7 lakh.

3)  The Heritage Softail Classic has come down from INR 20.45 lakh to INR 16.25 lakh thereby making it more affordable.

4) Indian Government has also raised the custom duties on bikes thereby making them more attainable by Indian buyers.
