Just a quick note about the above, you really have to watch how you contact people these days about asking for a link because if you're simply emailing random people/sites asking for a link it could still end you in trouble with google!

Plus you need to watch what you are asking

many Link Farms where shut down by Google and so natural linking is acceptable...and even powerful in the eyes of google. Nathaniel, I always welcome views and opinions, but you seemed to have missed a big part of what I said. I wouldn't suggest that ever. All I said was keyword density is a part of things. I didn't say "simply do this and magically you rank".... its just one more piece in a puzzle we call SEO.

Exactly its keyword mining - nothing magical about it really except that you are mining a major keyword for a site and using the minor keywords for the content. The concept is incredibly simple but makes oh so much sense.
