Mr. Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach created the Daimler Motor Corporation in the year 1890. in 1892 the company sold their first car. Karl Benz, was a German engine designer and was regarded Germany's first inventor of the combustion driven automobile. Benz and Daimler never met thought they only lived 60 miles from each other.
