Hand made items

Anyone has something like a tested procedure to market hand-made articles online? It will help us accelerate the launch of my sons' business. The first item they want to sell is a hand-refurbished guitar (Hawaiian) with hand-painted motifs. Not taking into account anything of the courier charges etc, they are looking at a net of $200 into their paypal accounts. Thanks
