Proof Santa Claus is not real
My niece Emily is a very smart 9 year old. A few weeks ago in her 'gifted and talented' class at school she decided to save all the other children a lot of trouble by setting them straight and telling them all that Santa Claus is not real.
Their argument went on for several minutes and some of the children started crying. They decided to take the issue to the teacher. Understanding the delicacy of the situation the teacher told the children they would have to take the issue up with their parents.
Exasperated by the whole ordeal Emily finally told the class to go home and look up Santa Claus on Wikipedia. If the word mythological appears anywhere on the page that means he is not real.
When my sister asked her why (when she knew better) did she do it? Her answer, "because mom it is better for them to know the truth."

I was working building a website last spring for a women and her business opportunity. I have a standard process of information collecting I do to research others websites of the same company before I build a site. This is my way to better educate myself with the project at hand.
What I found was tons of negative information on this company. (A good rule of thumb is to put in the google search bar the words 'Your Company Name scandal' and see what pops up.) I shared the information I had found with this client but she would hear nothing of Santa not being real.
As a matter of a fact she and her husband was so sure this company was the real deal that they invested $30,000 in this company knowing they would never have to do another thing and would see their investment back in three months.
A year has gone by and they have seen maybe one third of there investment and have now shut down the website they built. The company has changed the way they operate and much of their time is required to save the investment. My point is this. There are a lot of very real very good ways to make money online. Do your research and if the words mythological appear anywhere on the page keep looking.

Hi Val,
A great lesson in the importance of listening to good advice - even if the cost is that you lose face for being wrong. Being stubborn certainly got those guys no where.
On the subject of Sant - like Garnet and Jenn, I am not happy about this stuff about mythology. so i guess it leaves us with a choice - either you are telling a white lie to keep fashionably anti Santa - or it is the Three Kings that bring the presents. (They do here - because I KNOW and I have heard them!)

Hi Valerie,
I had to laugh when I read what your niece did. I just shared the other day on a board I did basiclly the same thing when I was around 7 or 8 years old. LOL got me in big trouble. The princple calling my dad and asking him to keep me silent about the issue of Santa.

I like your answer Peter!
My daughter Abby is not in a gifted program, she is in special ed, but is also 9. We are thinking either this year or the next is it for believing in Santa. Kids are very smart! I don't know why abby disbelieves, but soon becca who will be 6 will be next. Then how will cope???? lol

So, Valerie.
If I submit pictureproof of Santa feeding his raindeer with "smallfolks" around him... is it then maybe possible Wikipedia is wrong? Again.
You have a good point there, tough. Do Your research, folks. And do it good. Don't rely on one or two sources, they might be copying eachother.

Really good article. But you got to believe in Santa Claus. Why not. But I do understand the lead in to not believing all the hype things that people try to get everyone to join. And thanks for the clue as to how to investigate a company/

I AM SO UPSET NOW.....I THOUGHT SANTA WAS REAL!!!!!!
Thank you for your blog...very good as always. And yes, many many people need to realize..that Santa is not real. But I think the problem is they just don't want to admit they have been had. I am so blessed and thankful that this being my first time doing this type of biz...I have a company that is not only real...but suprises me with gifts all the time!

G`day,
excellent little lead into a fantastic lesson that needs to be shared around. By the way, my Daughter`s name is Emma-Leigh ... : )
For most people new online, it`s hard to tell Santa Claus from Santa CLAWS. They make it sound so wonderful with talk of sipping pina coladas on the beach, staying at home and my fave .... working in your underpants ... LOL ... that still makes me laugh (or pajamas but it doesn`t get the chuckle .. ; )
What i`d like to point out is when you see a sale
